Katherine Johnson conducted trajectory analysis and calculations for notable NASA missions, including Apollo 11, Freedom 7, America’s first human spaceflight and the first orbital mission of John Glenn. For her incredible contributions to space exploration over 30 years at NASA, she received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the film Hidden Figures centers on her story.
